Founder and President of Laxton CFO Services and a CPA licensed in North Carolina, Wendy has spent more than 35 years in financial management and leadership roles. She has served as a CFO and consultant to nonprofit, construction/real estate, life sciences, health care, and other professional service-oriented companies. Wendy founded Laxton CFO Services to leverage her experiences and values to support mission-oriented organizations. She is also a certified professional coach, working with leaders and managers to enhance leadership effectiveness and impact.

As a Laxton CFO Services team member, Heidi provides accounting support, workflow improvements, budgeting, and month-end financial reporting. She works with clients to ensure their accounting workflows and financial reporting are timely, accurate, and meaningful. Her background in both the corporate, nonprofit, and small business worlds gives her a unique perspective on what it takes to keep things running smoothly behind the scenes.

As a Laxton CFO Services team member, MJ works with clients to ensure their accounting workflows and financial reporting are timely, accurate, and meaningful. With over eight years of experience, MJ focuses on relationship building with her clients and integrates with their teams to bring insights, recommendations, and efficiencies. Her nonprofit clients have included a performing arts organization, a youth mentoring agency, and a nonprofit technology facilitator.

With over 18 years of experience, she supports nonprofit organizations in accounting, financial operations, and human resources. Julie’s clients have included a foster care agency, a charter school, a grassroots performing arts organization, a professional membership association, and a nonprofit amplifying the stories of young classical musicians.
